ORATORONE

Privacy Policy

Last updated 18 August 2026

OratorOne records your voice so an AI coach can tell you how you spoke. That makes your recordings the most sensitive thing we handle, so this policy states plainly what happens to them, who else touches them, and how long they last.

The short version. We record only while you are on the recording screen and only after you press the microphone button. Recordings are transcribed to produce your coaching report. If you leave “Save recordings” off, the audio file is deleted as soon as the report is made. We do not sell your data, do not share it with advertisers, and do not use your voice to build a voice model. You can erase everything from inside the app.

1. Who we are

OratorOne is provided by Changzhou Ziniao Advertising Technology Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”), Room 1110, Building 3, No. 101 Qingyang North Road, Tianning District, Changzhou, Jiangsu, China. For anything in this policy, including requests about your data, contact service@oratorone.com. We are the data controller for the information described below.

2. Using OratorOne without an account

You can practise without signing up. When you first open the app we create an anonymous identifier so your practice can be saved and synced. It is not linked to your name or email. If you later sign in with Apple or with an email code, the practice recorded under that anonymous identifier is moved to your account and the anonymous identifier is deleted.

4. Who else processes your data

We use a small number of service providers. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.

ProviderWhat they handle
Supabase Hosting, database, authentication and encrypted private storage of recordings. Your recordings are stored in a private area readable only by your own account.
OpenAI Transcribes the recording and produces the coaching report and, if you use it, the script rewrite. Under our API agreement, this content is not used to train OpenAI models.
RevenueCat Manages subscription status. Receives your purchase record and your OratorOne account identifier. It does not receive recordings, transcripts or scores.
Apple, Google Process payments and, if you use it, sign-in. We never see your card details.

5. How long we keep things

6. Legal bases (EEA and UK users)

Our providers are located in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA or UK, transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent approved mechanism.

7. Your rights and how to use them

You may also complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in California, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

8. Users in mainland China

We are established in the People’s Republic of China, so the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) applies to our handling of your information. We process it on the basis of your consent, given when you choose to record, and for the purpose of providing the coaching service you asked for. You may withdraw consent by deleting your account, which stops all further processing.

Our hosting and AI providers are located outside mainland China, so using OratorOne involves transferring your recordings, transcripts and account information abroad. By recording, you consent to that transfer. You retain the rights PIPL gives you to know, decide, access, correct, delete and obtain a copy of your personal information; contact us and we will act on the request.

9. Security

Recordings travel over encrypted connections and are stored in a private bucket partitioned by account, enforced at the database level rather than only in the app. Access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise; if a breach affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

10. Children

OratorOne is not directed to children. You must be at least 16, or the age of digital consent in your country if that is lower but not below 13, to use it. We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age; if we learn that we have, we will delete it.

11. Changes

If we change how we handle your data in a way that materially affects you, we will update this page and give notice in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
